Pete Pawlak, President was born and raised in the Midwest. His Midwestern roots give him his no nonsense approach to engineering. His 30+ plus years of experience on a wide array of projects makes him a valuable resource to solve complex problems quickly and creatively.
Pete has hand picked each staff member of Fossatti Pawlak Structural Engineers and closely manages each project. Larger firms rely on a staff of “engineers-in-training” to design projects. Pete Pawlak, President started his structural engineering career in 1981. He is a graduate of The University of Washington and is a licensed structural engineer in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Colorado, Hawaii, Texas, Georgia, New Mexico, North Dakota, West Virginia, Wyoming, and Pennsylvania. His project resume includes several notable structures including The Chihuly Glass and Garden Museum, The Pier 70 renovation, the Seattle Aquarium remodel. He recently completed the seismic upgrade of The Addison on 4th Avenue apartment building owned by Goodman Real Estate.
Pete has engineered a variety of architectural structures in his career and is adept at wood, steel and concrete construction; including podium structures. He is an expert on the seismic retro-fitting of historical structures. He has engineered houses, schools, manufacturing facilities, hospitals, assisted living and nursing home communities as well as office, mixed use and apartment buildings. Several of his clients have worked with Pete over 25 years.
