Pier 70 Renovation

Pier 70 was a renovation and tenant improvement of a Seattle Landmark, to convert space for retail and office use and add an 85,000-sf new space and open-air parking garage heavy timber beams and trusses.

Extensive demolition occurred involving all interior and exterior walls to retain the original timber and roof structure and required modifying trusses for office use while maintaining the vertical and lateral load resistance.  Partners included Gensler Architects, Fuller Sears Architects.
